About the Role

The Data Analytics and Reporting Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy and roadmap for reporting across the Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO). Responsibilities will cover analytics relevant to the CDAO's operation as an enterprise data center of excellence, as well as developing insights to help business line partners understand threats and opportunities related to data ownership and management risks. The role involves addressing data sourcing, tooling, presentation, training, and governance, engaging with technology teams to support a broader end user data strategy, and potentially overseeing automation and analytics functions with governance and controls on business processes.

Key Responsibilities

Help define the organization's strategy for Data Analytics and Reporting by developing the strategy, roadmap, and solutions for data, analytics, and associated automation
Prioritize creation and delivery of business aligned reporting to support insight across metrics, SLA's, capacity modeling, and other business needs
Lead cross-functional strategic vision of end user approach to data within the larger firm-wide strategy
Create scalable end user models with respect to data sourcing, tooling, training, and governance
Reengineer core business process reporting to be highly automated and provide deep insights at manager and executive levels
Coach and lead Operational Excellence Team members on assigned business objectives
Develop project plans and execute within approved time and budget
Establish and maintain performance metrics to measure program success
Manage risk by ensuring reviews and sign-offs from appropriate stakeholders
Work cross-functionally with technical, business, and compliance teams to define product release requirements and investigate production issues
Familiar with data sourcing strategies, data transformation and normalization, data analytics approaches, and developing visuals and narratives to share insights

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in analytics and reporting, using data to derive business insights
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in financial services
Experience with data sourcing strategies, data transformation, normalization, and analytics approaches
Technical capabilities to obtain and interpret data
Attention to detail and understanding of banking concepts
Creativity for succinct insight delivery and presentation
Ability to drive progress in a collaborative and matrixed team

Nice to Have

Expertise with Tableau, Snowflake, and Power BI or similar tools

Qualifications

Formal educational background of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
