This role involves maintaining reporting and analytics technical operations, ensuring timely delivery of reports and dashboards, and supporting the growth of our data environment. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Data and Technical Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in analytics tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Analyze data from various sources, such as ERP systems, relational databases, flat files, and spreadsheets, to build ETL/ELT and data ingestion processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on analysis of data.
  • Develop and maintain data using ETL/ELT/data ingestion techniques for dashboards, reports, and other visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
  • Work with complex data sourcing across different technologies.
  • Manage data lineage, identify risks, and implement remediation strategies.
  • Make recommendations to enhance analytics capabilities and improve the technical environment.
  • Support organizational technical projects/migrations such as infrastructure upgrades, server upgrades, and technology streamlining.
  • Develop, monitor, and own technical tasks, adjusting resources and priorities as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and Business units to meet project goals.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence Program Specialists to assess effort for new projects.
  • Ensure proper documentation of processes and work products.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure SQL Server Management and SQL Agent.
  • Strong SQL skills; familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Postgres.
  • Experience with SQL (Stored Procedures), Python, shell, batch scripting.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT tools like Informatica, Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys.
  • Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Data quality, Data Governance concepts, and SOX Controls.
  • Experience leading and growing local and virtual teams.
  • Technical Project Management experience.
  • Familiarity with application architecture and cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud technology (Azure, GCP, AWS).

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience of at least 8 years.
