About the Role

Infosys is seeking a Data Engineer responsible for translating software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks. The role involves applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gathering accurate requirements, and working closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and scope of development. The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate, with potential travel to project locations.

Key Responsibilities

Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within existing application frameworks.
Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and scope of development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
2 years of experience with Teradata, Oracle, RedShift, Snowflake, Unix, Python, and Airflow.

Nice to Have

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Teradata, Oracle, RedShift, Snowflake, Unix Shell Scripting, Python, and Airflow.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, MWAA, S3.
Experience with Automation, Tidal, MWAA (Airflow), or similar Scheduling Tools.
Experience with version control systems like GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
Experience in the software development life cycle and project lifecycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Empirical understanding of data systems including BI analytics, data blending, data warehousing, and data ETL.
Experience in the Cable domain with DWBI skill set.
Exceptional listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
Three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education (if applicable).
