As a Data Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh-PA, Cleveland-OH, Strongsville-OH, Birmingham-AL or Dallas-TX.

Key Responsibilities

Perform analysis & documentation of source data, business process, escalations, & reports
Build complex ETL for end user layer for intraday monitoring & end of day analytics & reports
Maintain data enrichment, data quality, complex SQL, and business rules for end user layer
Develop detailed reports needed for intraday monitoring & end of day analytics & reports
Review large data sets to find relationships, investigate changes, explain movements
Build analytics, insights, and business facing reports with minimal guidance
Create SQL queries that provide intuitive results for analysis & escalation
Develop, support and implement data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements
Design and build data service infrastructure on multiple data platforms
Implement data migration and transformation activities/processes to ensure data accuracy and security

Requirements

3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience
Bachelor's degree
Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to data analysis, data mining, data science, and application delivery
Experience with big data management and analytics, business intelligence, data architecture, and database structures
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work closely with users, developers, operations, and business partners to define data requirements
Experience in designing, building, and maintaining data solutions for scalability, availability, and maintainability
Experience with data migration and transformation activities to ensure data accuracy and security

Nice to Have

Experience working with liquidity management or capital markets
Experience creating business facing reports using industry standard business intelligence tools
