About the Role

Parsons is hiring a Data / Information Manager to support a military construction program. The role involves providing contractor services and deliverables in support of program and project information management, communication, and integration. The position is part of the Federal Solutions team, delivering resources to US government customers in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor program and project communication by preparing reports and data visualizations that track performance metrics, schedule adherence, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Conduct data analytics to monitor, analyze and synthesize reports, timelines, trends, and interdependencies for leadership and stakeholders to incorporate into decision-making processes.
  • Identify critical external and internal decision and data input points and provide timely reminders/warnings to management.
  • Create and maintain information systems that compile, integrate, manage, and disseminate critical information from numerous sources in support of program and project execution.
  • Assist in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out projects with visual displays, communicating with stakeholders to gather data and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Generate reports and documentation related to project/program objectives, coordinate stakeholder briefings, document meeting outcomes, and track action items.
  • Provide data analysis for project support, program integration, and project close-out services, advising management.
  • Schedule and conduct coordination meetings to verify team focus and priorities, develop agendas, and ensure attendance of critical stakeholders.
  • Communicate timely with management and clients regarding major initiatives or decisions.
  • Coordinate and advise program leadership through briefs, meetings, and discussions, documenting coordination meetings within two days to maintain historical knowledge.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university or an MBA with a degree in Info Systems & Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management Engineering, or Data and System Architecture.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in program and project coordination, data systems management, and data visualization for stakeholder communication.
  • At least three (3) years' experience with data systems management and visualization applications such as Tableau, Power BI, Prep Builder, Conductor, or equivalent database tools.
  • Experience in software development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, quality control, and maintenance of software products.
  • Excellent executive-level writing, brief preparation, and report development skills.
  • Strong analytics skills with the ability to process raw data, perform trend analysis, and generate performance reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Professional, with knowledge of government software tools.
  • Developed soft skills for effective collaboration with government professionals, clients, contractors, and personnel of varying backgrounds.
  • Understanding of quality control processes related to data management, visualization, and application versioning.

Nice to Have

  • Certification in data analytics, project management, or information systems (e.g., PMP, CAP, CSM).
  • Prior experience using Performance-based Work Statement (PWS) managing program data, reporting, and communication efforts for a DoD or government entity.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) from CMAA.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with web-automation tools such as RobotFramework.
