Job Description

About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced senior leader in the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Data management organization to lead the execution and governance of CIB's Data Management Metrics as part of the CIB Chief Operating Office. The CIB Data Management organization provides thought leadership into line of business data strategy, supports the development of simplified data environments to support line of business needs, and serves internal business customers through data advisory and data management support services. The individual will oversee the development, production, monitoring, reporting, and challenge of the suite of metrics, partnering with resources across the line of business, technology, control, and enterprise risk functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams of individual contributors and managers with a culture of talent development and high performance to deliver strong data risk management, automation, and efficient data governance processes.
  • Manage allocation of resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 3+ years of Management experience.

Nice to Have

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to present complex financial, risk management, and policy topics tailored to audiences of varying seniority and functions.
  • Experience in financial or investment banking environment.
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships.
  • Demonstrate the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic goals.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring and guiding teams.
  • Ability to manage and execute competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
