About the Role

The Senior Manager, Analytics leads the development of data driven solutions for clients, including report automation, analysis, and insight, with the objective of optimizing the performance of brand-focused and above-the-line media initiatives. They work with a broader team to manage data and insight delivery processes, drive innovation, and ensure team success. The role involves overseeing data and automation tasks, supporting methodology decisions, and guiding the team to the right resources. The position reports to a Director, Analytics, and is based remotely within the United States, with the location in New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of media performance strategy on behalf of clients, including reporting, measurement, and data automation.
  • Understand core business challenges facing brand and performance teams and develop relevant campaign measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning opportunities.
  • Establish data-driven processes to inform brand investment, media, and budget decisions.
  • Guide a team of data engineers in completing, prioritizing, and communicating tasks.
  • Implement measurement solutions to understand the success of media in-market and its incremental effect on business outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment between day-to-day analytics support and approved measurement frameworks.
  • Participate in a team-wide culture of learning by staying current on industry trends, methodologies, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
  • 4+ years of advanced experience in SQL and cloud databases, with BigQuery preferred.
  • Experience working with data engineers, with a preference for leading teams that include data engineers.
  • Media analytics experience.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar dashboard products.
  • Ability to manage a complex client with multiple brands and teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in SQL and cloud databases.
  • Experience with data engineers and media analytics.
  • Knowledge of dashboard tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
