Key Responsibilities

  • Your analytics will strategically advance how Qualtrics ideates, builds, measures, and improves its products.
  • You will use your quantitative skills to analyze disparate product clickstream, state, and customer feedback data sources (e.g., NPS, Social Media, Call/Case Volumes, Product feedback) to present comprehensive views of customer and product experience.
  • You will work across the data science stack building tools, visualizations, and predictive models, looking for opportunities to improve the experience of using XM.
  • Exhibit a strong intellectual curiosity, driving innovative research and data exploration.
  • Be an internal leader in basic statistics, including descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression, and help product teams develop statistical tools for our customers.
  • Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to analyze structured and unstructured big data sources to generate actionable insights.
  • Interact with stakeholders such as Product Leadership, Engineering, and User Research to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
  • Develop and code software programs, algorithms, and automated processes to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate large datasets from multiple sources.
  • Identify meaningful insights from large data and metadata sources; interpret and communicate findings.
  • Develop tools and datasets to democratize insights across the organization.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master's Degree in Quantitative Subjects (including Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or Data Science), with a BA/BS in Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, Physics, Math, Statistics, Social Science, or related fields.
  • 1+ years of work experience, ideally including leading complex, cross-functional projects in analytics or related fields (such as Finance, Operations, Management Consulting with a quantitative focus, or Software Engineering).
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills with techniques spanning supervised and unsupervised learning, descriptive and inferential statistics.
  • Fluent in Python or R, able to query data using SQL, and experienced with cloud-based computing platforms and big data tools.
  • Experience in data mining, advanced data manipulation, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization and communication tools like Tableau or Amplitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to present analysis, trends, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • High standard of detail, professionalism, and role model behavior.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with big data tools and cloud platforms.
  • Experience developing statistical tools for product teams.
  • Experience in building predictive models and data visualization projects.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master's Degree in a quantitative field with a BA/BS in related disciplines.
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in analytics or related fields.
