About the Role

As a data scientist at Booz Allen, you will work on unlocking insights from complex data sets using your expertise in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. You will collaborate with clients across various sectors to develop algorithms, analyze data, and provide actionable insights that help solve global challenges. The role involves leading data-driven projects, guiding teammates, and applying the right tools and frameworks to turn data into objective answers for informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs related to data analysis.
Dig into data-rich environments to find relevant information and insights.
Guide teammates and lead the development of algorithms and systems.
Use appropriate tools and frameworks to analyze structured and unstructured data sources.
Develop predictive data models, perform quantitative analyses, and visualize targeted data sources.
Translate complex data sets into understandable insights to advise clients.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
1+ years of experience with natural language processing or text mining.
Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
Experience with analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
Experience with developing predictive data models and quantitative analyses.
Knowledge of statistical analysis.
TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have

Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL.
Experience training models on edge devices.
Experience in Tableau Desktop, Server, and Prep.
