About the Role

The Data Scientist role involves AI/ML development, building predictive models, and machine-learning algorithms. The position requires expertise in data reconciliation, data quality, large data processing, and controls, with a focus on enterprise transformation initiatives within the Capital Markets sector. The candidate should have deep functional and technical experience across Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Risk, and Finance, and demonstrate leadership and management skills. Enthusiasm for AI and open-source technologies is also important.

Key Responsibilities

Develop AI/ML models and machine-learning algorithms to support business needs.
Lead large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives with a proven track record of success.
Articulate the intricacies of Technology Architecture related to data and AI solutions.
Work with large and complex datasets to perform predictive analytics.
Utilize statistical and data mining techniques such as GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, and text mining.
Query databases and use statistical programming languages including R, Python, and SQL.
Leverage web services like Redshift, S3, and Spark for data processing.
Create and implement advanced machine learning algorithms including regression, clustering, neural networks, and decision trees.
Utilize distributed data and computing tools such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and MySQL.
Use BI tools like Tableau and QlikView for data visualization and reporting.

Requirements

Expertise in AI/ML development and building predictive models.
Experience with data reconciliation, data quality, and large data processing.
Proven success in leading enterprise transformation initiatives.
