The Advanced Computing, Mathematics, and Data Division (ACMDD) conducts basic and applied computing research, including artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, and data science, aiming to advance energy-efficient computing systems and develop algorithms for analyzing complex systems in science, energy, and national security. The Data Sciences and Machine Intelligence group within ACMDD seeks a Data Scientist to lead research in robotics, autonomous systems, and intelligent control, contributing to scientific discovery through automation, modeling, and machine intelligence. The role involves developing capabilities in optimization, machine learning, and integration, supporting PNNL's mission to accelerate scientific discovery.
