Key Responsibilities

Perform quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets
Query data using SQL
Develop and implement scripts in Python
Utilize statistical or mathematical software such as R, SAS, or Matlab
Conduct applied statistics or experimentation, such as A/B testing, in an industry setting
Apply machine learning techniques
Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
Work with relational databases
Use quantitative analysis techniques including clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics
Communicate and present results of data analyses

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or a related field
Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis in performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets
Experience with data querying language: SQL
Proficiency in scripting language: Python
Knowledge of statistical or mathematical software including R, SAS, or Matlab
Experience with applied statistics or experimentation, such as A/B testing, in an industry setting
Understanding of machine learning techniques
Familiarity with ETL processes
Knowledge of relational databases
Experience with quantitative analysis techniques such as clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics
Ability to communicate and present data analysis results
