This Data Scientist Engineer role will play a key role in helping us bring the Net Power cycle to the market. You'll be responsible for developing the data streams and tools that will transform the raw data from our test facility into actionable insights. Your work will directly influence the design, optimization, and operation of our development facility and eventual commercial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms and analysis of testing data using Python and MS Fabric.
  • Develop and enhance reports and dashboards using Power BI.
  • Transition existing reports from Fabric and Python to Power BI.
  • Update stored procedures to ensure data completeness.
  • Manage algorithm configuration using Git or other revision control tools.
  • Familiar with configuration control methods for data, algorithms, and reports.
  • Support test planning and test reviews using tools and techniques developed to monitor and quantify test results.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of industrial processes, oil and gas facilities, and / or power generation plants.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience performing analysis of large-scale test data sets.
  • Strong experience in data engineering.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Python, and Matlab.
  • Experience with Python/R is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MS Fabric, Tensorflow, AI, Machine Learning, and tools to analyze large data sets for patterns and insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in large-scale test data analysis.
