Key Responsibilities

  • Applying data science tools and methods to research tasks.
  • Collecting and extracting data using various data extraction tools such as web-scraping and data mining.
  • Carrying out data management, visualization, wrangling, and analysis tasks independently.
  • Assisting faculty, staff, and other academic workers with collaborative high-density data projects, including organizing tasks and workflows.
  • Troubleshooting issues and identifying solutions.
  • Developing and applying advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Leading international collaborations.
  • Developing and maintaining reproducible analytic pipelines.
  • Public-facing presentation of data.
  • Supervising staff and trainees.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and minimum 1-2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in software design, biomedical, psychological research, or data science.
  • Extensive experience with programming and analysis languages including R and Python.
  • Facility with learning new technical skills independently.
  • Experience with specialized meta-analytic tools is strongly preferred.
  • Background check required.
  • Position contingent on funding.

Nice to Have

  • Ph.D. degree.
  • Significant domain expertise in psychedelics, clinical trials, and neuroimaging biomarkers.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with programming languages such as R and Python.
  • Experience with meta-analytic tools is strongly preferred.
