Data Scientist, Mid

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs related to data analysis.
• Dig into data-rich environments to find relevant information and insights.
• Mentor teammates in data science techniques and best practices.
• Develop algorithms, write scripts, and build predictive analytics models.
• Use automation, machine learning, and appropriate tools and frameworks to analyze data.
• Provide clients with a deep understanding of their data, its meaning, and how to utilize it for informed decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience using Python.
• Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and conditioning data, and creating schemas for data storage.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods.
• Ability to design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms.
• Ability to develop solutions and integrate and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products.
• Ability to generate data visualizations with Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS.
• TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT, and the data and tools associated with these disciplines.
• Experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or Intelligence Community.
• Knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
