About the Role

The Data Scientist / Senior Data Scientist role at Roblox involves building analytical data products and machine learning models to drive growth and decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Build scalable data solutions to empower rapid analytical decision making
Be a key owner of data reliability and data quality across the Creator data science team
Uplevel the team in terms of data craftsmanship, best practices, testing, quality guardrails, and bring new tools and technologies
Perform data analysis to generate business insights and manage analytical data solution roadmap for user growth
Collaborate with product managers and other data scientists to understand business goals and product needs
Partner with different product teams to optimize user growth strategies through insights, strategy, and leadership

Requirements

An advanced or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
Experience with SQL, Spark, Python, Airflow, and overall modern data stacks and data visualization
Experience with data mining, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytical engineering or similar role
Experience in the growth domain and/or gaming industry

Qualifications

Advanced or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline

Benefits & Perks

Annual salary range of $204,750—$258,500 USD
Eligibility for equity compensation and benefits
Roles based at headquarters are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday
