About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support regional CSM (Customer Satisfaction Model) framework design, development, maintenance, enhancement, and daily monitoring using Looker Studio.
• Assist in RAV annual count forecasting considering factors such as brand, fuel type, launch type, new car sales, and macroeconomic environment.
• Conduct RAV Root Cause analysis by studying repair order and warranty claim history to identify potential drivers and trends.
• Perform deep-dive analysis on RAV vehicles to identify early indications of RAV and provide insights to prevent or reduce RAV.
• Execute quick turnaround studies to address urgent business requests by mining, managing, and exploring large, high-dimensional structured and unstructured data sources.
• Apply relevant quantitative modeling techniques and tools in statistical analysis, econometrics, operations research/optimization, AI/ML/LLM to real-world business problems.
• Ensure data quality and solution integrity throughout the analytics development process.
• Maintain and improve existing quantitative models supporting daily decision-making.
• Integrate validation results and visualize analysis/prediction outcomes to provide comprehensive insights.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, project managers, data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to test data/model pipelines, validate outputs, and ensure successful deployment into production.
• Communicate and present models and analytical results clearly and effectively.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with a broad range of analytical techniques including forecasting, regression, and AI/ML/LLM methodologies.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks, including deep learning, neural networks, and ensemble methods.
• Proficient experience in training, evaluating, and fine-tuning machine learning models for optimal performance.
• Experience in processing large, high-dimensional structured and unstructured data, including data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for data manipulation, analysis, and model development.
• Experience with SQL and big data manipulation, statistical analysis, modeling, and optimization.
• Knowledge of GCP services such as Vertex AI, BigQuery, GCS, Google Cloud SQL, and Looker Studio.
• Additional experience in the auto industry involving complex quantitative analytics is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Data Science, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
• More than 3 years of experience with GCP tools like Vertex AI, BigQuery, GCS, Google Cloud SQL, and Looker Studio.
• Over 3 years of post-graduate work experience in the auto industry involving complex analytics and modeling.
• 5+ years of experience with Python and SQL.
• 5+ years of experience in big data analysis, statistical modeling, and AI/ML/LLM techniques.
• Curiosity, high initiative, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Fast learner in theoretical modeling and coding.
• Strong problem formulation and solving skills.
• Comfortable working in environments with ill-defined problems.
