Data Visualization Analyst/Sr. Analyst (Hybrid Role)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for translating business requirements into BI solutions
• Manage IT development projects by bridging the gap between technical and business processes and working closely with business process owners to analyze requirements
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of the BI solutions to ensure effective development, maintenance and support
• Proactively communicate new and innovative ideas, solutions, etc. to help advance the organization
• Create ad-hoc queries to provide information requested by business users as needed
• Drive the prioritization of work based on greatest value while operating in an agile development environment to continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks
• Act as the day-to-day, business owner of existing business intelligence applications
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge to establish and manage timelines, project priorities, and handle multiple/concurrent projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in analytics, reporting, or similar business function related to Business Intelligence
• Experience developing in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense
• Experience with data structures such as SAP HANA, AWS Redshift
• Utilize Alteryx or similar application to join multiple tables/data sources and perform ETL
• Utilize SQL to navigate large enterprise data stores
• Adept at design, economic and critical thinking
• Strong aptitude for quickly learning business processes and technologies
• Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders
• High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability

Nice to Have

• 2+ years of experience developing in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense
• Experience with data structures such as SAP HANA, AWS Redshift
• Experience with ETL tools like Alteryx
• Experience utilizing SQL for large enterprise data stores
