About the Role

The Database Marketing Analyst (Survey) at Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for data extraction and list or lead generation for brand-wide marketing surveys and campaigns. They perform analysis of marketing surveys and campaigns to evaluate and improve various marketing programs and tactics, track effectiveness, understand customer sentiments, and identify opportunities to target and increase sales. The role involves monitoring the database to ensure data is updated timely and working with complex marketing functions behind the company's marketing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, deployment and maintenance of new and existing marketing applications with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with business partners and management to strategically plan and improve processes to drive better campaign results and increase sales revenues.
  • Develop advanced analysis to understand lead management and campaign performance to executive leadership in a meaningful way.
  • Contribute critical support in the day-to-day execution of marketing tools, including campaign management via SQL, databricks, and database analysis.
  • Work with Data Warehouse and other teams to source new data and identify and resolve database and data warehouse system issues that impede data extraction, manipulation, and interpretation.
  • Understand table structures, fields, and update processes of the database and analyze areas for organization and improvement.
  • Create processes and scripts to improve the speed and efficiency of data extraction for direct marketing campaigns.
  • Create and maintain procedures for interacting with databases and other internal systems.
  • Perform miscellaneous database marketing-related tasks as assigned.
  • Analyze data from QualtricsXM platform to understand call data in detail and identify areas of opportunity through metadata tagging workflows.
  • Assist in training to help build a high-performance analyst team capable of managing increased responsibility and campaign diversity.
  • Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and coordinate plans and activities with others to ensure a team approach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in campaign management, data extraction, and list or lead generation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Qualtrics platform and experience with survey creation and deployment.
  • Experience in database marketing, including managing large data sets and working in campaign management systems.
  • 5+ years demonstrated knowledge of SQL Server and/or other relational database technology, specifically writing complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Strong data mining skills and the ability to apply intuition to results.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Disciplined, analytical but creative thinker and problem solver.

  • Fully access and understand data sources for analysis including QualtricsXM, SSIS, Visual Studios, and other systems within the company.
  • Proficiency in all modules of Microsoft Office required with Excel expertise.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact coherently with various departments and levels of management.
