About the Role

ICF Next Creative Studio is seeking an On-Call Desktop Designer with expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint to support the creation of visually compelling presentations. The role involves transforming complex ideas into accessible, well-designed slides, contributing to a mission-driven creative team that includes strategists, communicators, and technologists. The position offers flexible hours, ranging from zero to 30 hours per week, and can be performed remotely within the US, preferably in the DC metro area.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to design and format PowerPoint documents.
Generate and integrate clear and compelling charts, graphs, and other visual representations to convey information in an easily digestible format.
Implement and manage document style sheets, templates, and standard formatting guidelines to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Requirements

Proven expertise in presentation design with 7+ years of experience, particularly with Microsoft PowerPoint, highlighted by a robust portfolio.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Extensive knowledge using styles to format presentation documents and developing templates for large, complex presentation documents.
Candidates must include a portfolio with their resume/application.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in presentation design, especially with PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
