About the Role

Infosys is seeking a DevOps Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Key Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Create high level design artifacts and deliver high quality code for modules.
Lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.
Support modernization efforts by integrating new technologies to enhance functionality and performance.
Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions align with architectural standards and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in technology architecture, system design, and enterprise application development.
Experience and strong understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
Experience with Scripting (Python, Shell).
Experience with cloud platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Nice to Have

Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
At least 6 years of Architect and implement solutions on cloud platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging cloud-native services.
Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for various applications using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and Argo CD.
Experience in implementing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Experience in integrating messaging systems such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, and Solace.
Design and manage databases, including Oracle and NoSQL databases.
Apply architectural principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience in modernizing legacy systems and integrating modern technologies.
Knowledge of AI and ML technologies and their application in enterprise solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent technical communication skills.
Proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their applicability.
