DevOps Engineer, Core Infrastructure Engineering

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Automate and scale systems and services that support the streaming platform.
• Collaborate with SRE and delivery teams on infrastructure automation, scaling, and CICD projects.
• Develop tools and systems that support services and facilitate high-quality software delivery.
• Ensure platform processes, automation, and best practices are followed.
• Work with other engineers to drive projects to completion and improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working in production-level environments as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience in automation and creating reusable patterns and solutions.
• Experience with GitOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, including infrastructure automation within CI/CD.
• Proficiency with AWS and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
• Experience in at least one programming language, including TypeScript.
• Experience managing containerized infrastructure in ECS or Kubernetes.
• Experience working with and guiding software engineers on production best practices.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, and non-relational databases such as DynamoDB.
• Knowledge or working experience with GCP.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Pulumi.
