Devsecops Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist application teams that are running security scans such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.
• Work with the dev community to understand existing implementations and provide solutions.
• Help debug and understand existing Python code and provide solutions based on it.
• Support deployment processes in AWS through Python and DevOps tools.
• Provide directions and guidance to other team members regarding security and deployment practices.

Requirements

• Strong application security knowledge, with experience in Java or Python.
• Proficiency in AWS and its services such as S3 and EC2.
• Solid understanding of DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab, UCD, and Terraform.
• Experience with security scanning tools like Fortify, Nexus, or ZAP.
• Knowledge of scripting or programming in Java, Python, Groovy, or similar languages.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure.
• Prior experience working with security concepts such as SAST, DAST, and SCA.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS offerings beyond S3 and EC2.
• Familiarity with additional security tools or scanning solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a DevSecOps environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and security practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation in Python or similar languages.
