DevSecOps Engineer (Onsite at Reston, VA)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize application security knowledge to support secure development practices.
• Work with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, UCD, GitLab, etc., to automate and streamline deployment processes.
• Use AWS and its tools to manage cloud infrastructure and services.
• Apply coding skills in Java, Python, Groovy, or similar languages to support automation and security tasks.
• Use scan tools like Fortify, Nexus, Zap, etc., to identify and address security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• Strong application security knowledge.
• Experience with Java or Python programming languages.
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, UCD, GitLab, etc.
• Knowledge of AWS and its related tools.
• Prior experience using security scan tools like Fortify, Nexus, Zap, etc.
• Good communication skills.
