About the Role

The Digital Communications Leader at ABB is responsible for executing digital and storytelling initiatives to support local divisions, business areas, country, and group communications in the United States. The role aims to elevate ABB's brand and reputation among customers and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration across divisions and promoting best practices in digital storytelling and content management. The position offers a remote or hybrid work model depending on location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing ABB's digital and storytelling initiatives to support local divisions, business areas, country and group communications, including the external website and social channels in the United States.
  • Curating stories across local divisions and business areas to showcase how ABB is solving problems that help customers and partners outrun and advance the company's brand positioning.
  • Fostering collaboration and alignment across local business areas and divisions to manage a comprehensive content calendar and tell a cohesive ABB story to customers and partners.
  • Ensuring a balanced profile of ABB locally in the United States market across local divisions and business areas.
  • Sharing digital and storytelling best practices to promote professional development with local divisions, business areas, country and group communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, Journalism, Digital Design or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in social media and content development.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to explain complex web traffic data in an understandable way.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of online advertising platforms and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production, and creative design across multiple platforms.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
