Marketing Communications Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to managers and professional staff responsible for defining and executing company's short and long term communications strategy to promote the sale of company products and further AMAT's sales objectives
• Works across functional groups to assure consistent company communications and broad/comprehensive product(s) positioning
• Develops and coordinates PR campaigns, ads, tradeshows, magazine articles, new product launches and content for web sites
• Recommends the media best suited to sell specific products or Marketing Communications services
• Interacts with vendors to produce promotional Marketing Communications materials

Requirements

• Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own job family and knowledge of other related job families
• Applies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the segment/function
• Manages multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources
• Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational and organizational problems
• Influences others internally and externally, including senior management
• Understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times

• Experience conceptualizing and managing events for a company

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing communications, public relations, or related fields
• Leadership experience managing multiple teams
• Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior management
