About the Role

Berlitz is a global leader in language instruction and cross-cultural training, dedicated to helping people communicate more effectively across borders and cultures. With a presence in over 70 countries, Berlitz delivers immersive learning experiences that drive real results for individuals and organizations at B2C, B2B and Govt level. We are currently seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Lead to own and drive the digital performance of our U.S. marketing efforts. This is a strategic and executional role that sits at the core of our demand generation and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the U.S. Berlitz website experience: performance, structure, UX, content updates, and CRO
  • Collaborate with global web and tech teams to implement enhancements and ensure localization for U.S. audiences
  • Monitor and improve website KPIs including bounce rate, time on site, and conversion rates
  • Manage and execute paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) directly or via expert freelancers/agencies
  • Optimize campaigns for lead generation and ROI; oversee A/B testing and attribution reporting
  • Develop landing pages and optimize funnels to improve user journey and conversion
  • Drive on-page and off-page SEO improvements to increase organic visibility
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure search-optimized content creation aligned with user intent
  • Monitor and analyze campaign and site performance using GA4, Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and CRM reports
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with global marketing, content, sales, and IT
  • Manage external vendors and freelancers as needed
  • Stay current on digital trends, competitor activity, and best practices

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in digital marketing, currently in a role related to website management/optimization or paid media campaign management
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and other tracking/analytics platforms
  • Experience working with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal)
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills; data-driven decision-making mindset
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Experience in a multi-stakeholder or international marketing environment is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
