About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager is the individual contributor responsible for planning and managing the bank's digital channels and content to achieve the bank's stated goals. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, optimizing digital experiences, and evaluating performance across multiple channels to support the bank's marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain the bank's digital channels, including HancockWhitney.com, and optimize the user's digital experience.
  • Plan and enhance the bank's digital marketing channels, including SEO/SEM, Google Business Listings, and Insights Blog.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing channels and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spending and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies in regard to digital marketing.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption where appropriate.
  • Develop in-depth understanding of features and benefits of financial products offered to the segment.
  • Contribute to the definition and refinement of client segment positioning strategies.
  • Contribute ideas to help achieve segment marketing goals and program ROI.
  • Help define and update marketing plans for specific marketing channels.
  • Generate ideas for future improvements based on stakeholder discussions and previous results.
  • Ensure marketing programs adhere to brand standards and contribute to building brand equity.
  • Coordinate with internal and external centers of excellence to execute campaigns and programs.
  • Use resources to understand the impact of marketing programs on the buying funnel, sales, revenue, and ROI.
  • Build relationships across the company to maintain high internal standards.
  • Stay informed about new trends and opportunities to build knowledge and thought leadership.
  • Follow established department policies, procedures, and workflow practices.
  • Serve as a first line of defense in implementing appropriate risk controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant accountable marketing disciplines such as customer marketing, segment marketing, database marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in digital marketing, preferably with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media, paid search, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
  • Proven results from marketing programs and campaigns created and managed.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and interest in understanding what drives customer and business value.
  • Experience working for or with a publicly traded company.
  • Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and operate a keyboard as required.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and travel if necessary.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required.

Nice to Have

  • Regulated industry experience (e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Gaming) is strongly preferred but not required.
