About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to support the execution and optimization of loyalty and personalization initiatives across Whataburgers digital platforms. This contract role plays a critical part in delivering seamless customer experiences through digital offers, rewards, and promotional campaigns. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely, accurate, and engaging digital marketing activations, managing end-to-end programming of digital offers and rewards, overseeing paper coupon updates, handling fraud account management, and working closely with legal and customer care teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support the execution and optimization of loyalty and personalization initiatives across digital platforms.
Manage the end-to-end programming of all digital offers and rewards across three integrated systems, including coordinating with RT, building offers in Xenial and WebAdmin, collecting creative assets, updating terms and conditions, and scheduling testing for new promotions.
Oversee paper coupon updates on a per-period basis and ensure each paper coupon has a corresponding digital offer.
Request creative assets and test functionality for each digital promotion.
Handle fraud account management by uploading flagged accounts to Xenial for deactivation approximately 48 times per month.
Create and maintain tracking documents for all sponsorship-related digital offers.
Serve as the point of contact for the Customer Care team on offer-related issues or escalations.
Work closely with the legal team and external partners to draft and finalize sweepstakes terms and conditions, often requiring multiple rounds of revisions and approvals.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a fast-paced or retail environment.
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Self-starter with a growth mindset, able to take ownership, learn quickly, and resolve issues independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience with Braze and Jira.
Familiarity with JSON coding.
Exposure to platforms such as AppsFlyer, LiveRamp, Xenial.
Understanding of digital personalization and loyalty program strategies.
