About the Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating original artwork with a visual style, design, and layout appropriate to each project's concepts and goals. The role primarily supports the marketing function but may also assist other departments with graphic design needs. The position involves communicating and coordinating marketing programs to enhance the company's value proposition, solving practical problems, and contributing to business growth through project prioritization and collaboration with various teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and executing short and long range marketing plans and programs to ensure profit growth and add value to stakeholder relationships.
  • Assist with establishing marketing goals to support organizational strategic plans and visions.
  • Design all print collateral material, direct mail pieces, digital pieces, one-page flyers, and create logos for promotions using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Research companies that can provide giveaways and customized items, design customized wearables, and review stitch-outs.
  • Work with the marketing team to create successful social media campaigns, content plans, and maintain social media trends.
  • Provide artwork for marketing spin-offs such as sales promotions, respond to sales requests for banners, flyers, signage, and assist in food shows and business meetings with logo, theme, signage, and wearables.
  • Respond to customer requests for creation of menu and logo designs, T-shirts, and other branding materials.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1-2 Years of Marketing or related experience.
  • Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
  • Experience with PC platform, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SharePoint.

Nice to Have

  • Associates/2-year technical degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 2-4 Years of Marketing experience within foodservice industry.
