About the Role

Zero Gravity Basketball is a youth basketball event operator based out of Woburn, MA and the market leader of grassroots events, primarily operating on the East Coast. Zero Gravity plans and manages basketball tournaments, leagues, prep school showcases, and camps for children and young adults. Participants span from beginner level 2nd graders through Top-100, Nationally Ranked HS prospects. ZG has many established partnerships including Adidas, Jr. NBA, Spalding, Yeti, and Gatorade. Zero Gravity Basketball is part of 3Step Sports LLC, the nation's largest youth sports club and event operator, impacting over 1.1 million participants across nine sports annually.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to website content, design and layout
Lead the creation and execution of social media campaigns on ZG Social Platforms including Facebook, Twitter (X), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Develop a content calendar to promote upcoming events
Establish unique pathways to celebrate & highlight club & facility partners
Create and edit video content
Develop and implement strategies to expand audience reach of ZG social media account
Act as a Site Director at Zero Gravity events

Requirements

Major in Marketing, Communications or Sport Management
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Immense knowledge of social media platforms
Working knowledge of Adobe applications including Photoshop, Premier Pro, After Effects, & InDesign
Ability to work in an extremely demanding, fast-paced environment
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
Prior event management experience
Able to work extended hours including nights and weekends
Willing to travel frequently to various locations including the New England, Tri-State, Mid-Atlantic or Southern Regions
