About the Role

Walex Products Company, Inc.—a global leader in sanitation and odor control—is seeking a creative, resourceful, and digitally savvy Digital Media Specialist to join their marketing team in Leland, NC. The role involves telling the company's story through engaging social media content, supporting branding efforts, and collaborating across teams to enhance digital presence. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute creative, scroll-stopping campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, and trending platforms.
Create engaging content—videos, Reels, photos, memes—that reflect Walex's voice and enhance online presence.
Write witty, on-brand captions to increase engagement and sharing.
Track analytics and performance metrics to evaluate campaign success, optimize strategies, and share results.
Work with influencers and brand partners to promote products and brand awareness.
Support event and tradeshow coverage with live content and behind-the-scenes material, with some travel required.
Design collateral, sales materials, digital ads, web graphics, and other branding assets.
Collaborate with sales, product, design, and eCommerce teams to support company initiatives.

Requirements

3+ years of digital media experience for a consumer brand, preferably in CPG or outdoor space.
2+ years of experience designing materials for digital and print channels, including social media, digital advertising, website design, print advertising, and collateral like catalogs and brochures.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field, or proven success in similar roles.
Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills, with a clever and engaging tone.
In-depth knowledge of social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, and basic reporting tools.
Solid graphic design skills for digital and print media using Adobe Creative Suite.
Website design experience, especially with WordPress, is a plus.
Comfort working with influencers, user-generated content, and community building.
Familiarity with photography, video editing, SEO, or running paid ads is a bonus.
An appreciation for RV life, outdoor living, or an open mind about talking toilets online.

Qualifications

Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
