Digital Media Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex graphics design duties including page layout, posters, infographics, presentations, digital signage, web wireframes, motion graphics, 3D animation, exhibit design, and marketing materials.
• Provide art direction and act as a strategic advisor on overall design themes.
• Develop template themes to ensure a creative yet consistent look and feel tailored to the audience.
• Ensure all designs adhere to the company brand and visual identity.
• Exercise judgment and project management skills to balance priorities, communicate with team members and clients, and meet project deadlines.
• Keep clients and team members informed of project progress.
• Manage and organize content for workflow and archival purposes using a shared media server.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media, or relevant major.
• Familiarity with graphic design, web design, and preparing files for digital and offset printing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, team building, and change management.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or digital media with 5 or more years of experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance.
• Successful completion of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and possibly a polygraph examination.
• Pre-placement physical, drug screening, and background investigation required.
