About the Role

The Digital Product Analyst is a key part of the GAM Digital Data & Analytics team at Sherwin-Williams, responsible for delivering collection, measurement, and analysis of data to provide insights and recommendations on the digital customer journey. The role involves developing measurement plans, building dashboards, analyzing website and mobile app behavioral data, and supporting digital presence optimization. The position requires strong communication and project management skills, with a focus on web analytics within ecommerce, to drive actionable insights and digital growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end analytics support for new and existing digital features and experiences deployed across web and mobile applications.
  • Observe, collect, and report on the relationship between digital user behavior and business value, articulating research findings through verbal and written analysis, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Document and gather requirements from stakeholders to define requests and better understand digital product objectives.
  • Build comprehensive measurement and deliverable plans in support of large-scale website and mobile app enhancements.
  • Develop and deploy tags as needed using a Tag Management System (TMS), ensuring effective data collection for analysis.
  • Optimize data collection strategy spanning tag management, data source considerations, and performance implications to ensure digital data lands in final reporting destinations.
  • Develop and present regular reports on key metrics, performance trends, and user engagement to stakeholders.
  • Measure digital experience performance against defined KPIs for customer satisfaction, site performance, engagement, and conversion to inform digital project discovery, planning, and optimization.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards related to website user behavior and performance to enable self-service analytics and data democratization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Digital/Ecommerce, IT or related field.
  • 5+ Years of experience in a web analytics role within an ecommerce environment.
  • Proficiency with relevant web and app analytics tools: Adobe Analytics, Firebase, Google Analytics.
  • Experience in data visualization and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and analytics tagging processes.
  • Experience using SQL to extract, join, and manipulate large datasets.
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced Degree in related field.
  • Corporate retail or CPG experience.
  • Knowledge of collaborative design techniques, Agile and Lean frameworks, UI design, and information architecture.
  • Experience with feedback tools like Opinion Lab.
  • Knowledge of testing/optimization platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Target.
