The Director, Account Engagement Marketing will focus on digital and HCP omnichannel strategy in rare diseases. This is a hybrid position, with a requirement of 3 days/week in the Cambridge, MA office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide account and HCP digital engagement expertise across the portfolio within the Rare Disease franchise, which includes 6 therapeutic areas, 7 in-line products, and 4 launches over the next 3 years.
  • Lead omnichannel strategy and content development for in-line and launch products, including developing AI-driven next best action ecosystems and content generation platforms.
  • Manage AI workstreams and Market Development Specialist automation strategies for Fabry & Gaucher portfolios.
  • Create and optimize digital engagement strategies with dynamic targeting, including building HCP digital personas and content journeys for in-line and launch opportunities.
  • Own SEO & SEM strategies for in-line products and ensure digital activations align with brand strategies.
  • Execute performance measurement and customer intelligence analysis to improve engagement experiences.
  • Partner with Sanofi's GTMC & Digital Accelerator teams to optimize connected website experience and messaging deployment.
  • Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with key events and launch milestones.
  • Establish and track performance metrics, develop GenAI modular content, and lead vendor and agency relationships for creative and digital content development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Global Marketing, Patient Marketing, Product Strategy, Corporate Communications, Digital, and GTMC) to ensure alignment of brand and customer engagement strategies.
  • Lead the digital deployment of modular content, manage performance metrics, and oversee budget and agency/vendor partnerships for digital initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in marketing, business, technology, or life sciences.
  • Pharma launch experience required.
  • Digital marketing experience required.
  • 7-10 years of marketing experience within pharma or healthcare media/digital agencies.
  • Successful track record of strategic decision making, innovation, and problem-solving.
  • Experience working within large scale and complex multidisciplinary teams and influencing without authority.
  • Insights & analytics experience, preferably in cross-functional leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in account/HCP omnichannel marketing strategy.
  • Ability to travel approximately 33% within the US.
