About the Role

As the Director, Business Intelligence at Rothy's, you will be a thought leader responsible for shaping and executing the data strategy that drives global business decisions. You will build and lead an agile team ensuring data integrity, governance, and accessibility to support stakeholders across finance, marketing, strategy, and technology. The role involves transforming complex data into meaningful insights to guide the company's growth and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks to ensure consistent, accurate, and secure data across the organization.
  • Standardize data processes to support effective decision-making.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with finance, technology, marketing, and strategy teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and actionable.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Technology teams to enable data flow, develop tools, and inform analytics product design.
  • Support integration of predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI for proactive decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Implement Business Intelligence tools and dashboards to provide real-time insights for stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance on BI best practices, professional development, and career growth.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to understand business needs and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Verify model capabilities with domain experts and translate statistical outputs into business language.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Stay current with BI trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of professional experience within a data-driven consumer product organization or consulting firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ecommerce.
  • Fluency in translating complex data into actionable insights for multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and project management skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally among business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • SQL fluency with hands-on experience in using SQL for complex data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience with statistical methods such as A/B testing, propensity scoring, segmentation, clustering, and regression analysis.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Familiarity with data engineering and automation tools.
  • Well versed in user behavior analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Segment, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics).
  • Proficient in key BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, QlikSense, Domo, Thoughtspot, PowerBI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly.
  • Effective leadership skills to guide teams through complex and ambiguous situations.

  • MBA degree.
  • Knowledge of consumer brands or omni-channel retail experience.
