About the Role

We are seeking a visionary Director of Campaign and Content Strategy to spearhead the development, execution, and optimization of our global, integrated marketing campaigns and content marketing strategies. This pivotal role will lead a dynamic team dedicated to crafting flagship marketing campaigns and cohesive content marketing initiatives. This integrated campaign strategy will serve as the foundation of our overall marketing strategy and operational model, guiding the development of persona- and segment-led marketing programs in all regions where we operate. The role involves establishing a structured approach to campaign execution and content development to engage key buyer personas, drive global brand awareness, and enhance market positioning. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in persona-driven messaging and content marketing, passionate about innovative practices, data-driven optimization, and fostering collaboration across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and build a new campaign strategy team, including defining roles, recruiting top talent, and creating campaign frameworks that streamline global marketing programs and content cross-functionally.
  • Lead the development of integrated campaigns by overseeing their creation and execution to align with business and growth goals across all global markets.
  • Drive content strategy to support brand awareness, organic traffic, inbound conversions, customer engagement, and brand positioning across multiple channels and markets.
  • Enhance buyer persona development by collaborating with cross-functional teams to guide the development and expansion of buyer personas, ensuring initiatives are tailored to meet their needs.
  • Advise cross-functional business partners, including Sales and Marketing leaders, on campaign and content strategy alignment to achieve shared business goals.
  • Implement a data-driven decision-making framework by establishing analytics to assess campaign performance and inform strategy adjustments.
  • Innovate content formats by exploring and implementing diverse, modern content types to engage audiences and improve brand storytelling.
  • Streamline content development, sharing, promotion, and measurement processes to ensure sales teams have easy access to relevant content.
  • Manage the marketing budget for campaigns and content initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Identify market trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities for campaign development and content creation.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the B2B technology sector, including content marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, and/or product marketing.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a leadership role, with previous director-level experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling marketing teams and functions from the ground up, including defining roles and establishing processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of content marketing best practices, including SEO and multi-channel distribution strategies.
  • Expertise in developing and launching integrated global marketing strategies based on audience needs and behaviors.
  • Exceptional messaging and market positioning skills, with extensive experience in developing positioning frameworks and briefs.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams across time zones and cultures.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with global growth goals.
  • Proven track record of managing marketing budgets effectively to ensure optimal resource utilization and ROI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives and presenting to executive audiences.
  • Proficiency in analytics methodologies to measure campaign performance, derive insights, and lead data-driven decision making.
  • A passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends, with a drive to experiment with new ideas and approaches.
