About the Role

The Director of Cultural Marketing at Coca-Cola is responsible for developing and leading culturally relevant marketing programs that connect deeply with underrepresented consumers. This role is a key part of transforming NAOU Marketing to place Culture at the heart of every consumer interaction, shaping brand plans for 2025, and fostering authentic connections with diverse audiences through strategic insights, storytelling, and innovative tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop annual Cultural Marketing toolkits such as Diwali, Black History Month, Lunar New Year, delivering culturally relevant and authentic programs to the Marketing Function.
  • Lead the creation of bespoke Cultural Marketing programs in partnership with NAOU functions including Category Teams, EPICS, FLM, Bottler, and National Customer Teams.
  • Advise on cultural insights and strategies within business briefs to enhance impactful communication across GOATS and campaign programs.
  • Shape the development of Cultural Marketing guidelines and playbooks based on insights and data to guide brand presence in culture across NAOU marketing touchpoints.
  • Bring the voice of diverse consumers into category and brand strategies to foster authentic connections that drive love and transactions.
  • Enable tech adoption of leading-edge tools to scale cultural marketing efforts across the organization.
  • Manage cultural insights and case studies to build organizational capability through internal and external examples.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing strategy, execution, or planning roles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams and knowledge of the bottling and franchise community.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills with internal and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, conduct research, and extract multicultural insights for growth opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an agile, networked environment.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of social media management, UX, AI concepts, and data strategies.
  • Experience with audience engagement, influencer marketing, and omnichannel interactions.
  • Familiarity with sustainability, brand strategy, experimentation, and design thinking.
