Director of Analytics - MD Live - Hybrid

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage the analytics team to deliver high-quality insights and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide actionable insights that align with operational workflows.
• Design and execute a multi-year enterprise data analytics strategy aligned with MD Live's growth and objectives.
• Champion the modernization of data infrastructure, enabling scalable and efficient analytics workflows.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive analytics framework with data governance and development lifecycle that ensures data integrity, accuracy, consistency, compliance, and stakeholder trust.
• Design and develop enterprise-grade BI dashboards using Tableau features, custom visualizations, and advanced analytics.
• Partner with business units to identify analytical opportunities, prioritize projects, and translate complex data into meaningful business impact.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and influence cross-functional teams, aligning priorities across clinical, operational, and executive leadership.
• Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Define and improve standardized and ad-hoc analytics/reporting capabilities.
• Create a positive, collaborative team environment built on open communication and trust.
• Set clear goals and KPIs, delegate tasks, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years with demonstrated leadership and experience in advanced analytics, business process optimization, consulting, financial analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and provider payment strategy.
• Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level and ability to build and maintain credible relationships across organizational levels.
• Experience leading complex teams with knowledge of the healthcare system including medical management, claims, risk & quality, finance, provider networks, and practice operations.
• Ability to manage and grow a team to achieve departmental goals at a rapid pace.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate key messages to executive leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to deliver presentations to senior leadership.
• Expertise in data and analytical skills including modeling, synthesizing information, and deriving key insights to guide strategy and business outcomes.
• Experience developing analysis, problem-solving skills, and presenting complex concepts effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Technical proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Python, and JIRA.
• Ability to tell stories with data.

Nice to Have

• Experience working deeply with health plans and provider organizations.
• Familiarity with a variety of data domains such as clinical, administrative, claims, and finance.
• Experience in or working with health plans and provider organizations.

Qualifications

• Annual salary of $155,400 - $259,000 depending on experience and location.
