About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the business strategy by analyzing key market trends including competitive products, regulatory and legislative developments, and technological advances.
• Own the demand forecast and voice of customer for new product development.
• Lead the marketing efforts for the Control and Automation Global Segment team.
• Guide and hold accountable Product Line Managers for execution of strategic marketing initiatives as defined in the ICD Strategic Plan and the annual Profit Plan.
• Build and develop talent within the marketing organization through coaching, training, and focus on succession planning.
• Jointly develop a sales growth strategy and programs to increase market share in existing markets and identify and develop new markets.
• Collaborate and introduce product/marketing promotions and other sales programs to deliver top-line sales revenue objectives.
• Develop relationships with the sales force, channel partners, and target customers as a key representative of the business.
• Engage with North America’s Sales organization to gain insights into customer needs, preferences, and challenges.
• Focus on increasing margins by balancing growth and profitability through effective product lifecycle management, including portfolio, product mix, pricing, and customer segmentation.
• Identify inorganic growth opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential acquisition or partnership targets.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive Sales, Marketing, or Operations environment.
• Experience leading global teams.
• Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• An undergraduate degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrates a growth mindset, influences and empowers teams, and fosters decision effectiveness using critical thinking and data.
• Values human connections, emotional intelligence, and creates an inclusive environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with strategic planning and market analysis.
• Experience in control and automation industries or related technological fields.
• Advanced degrees such as a Master’s degree.
