Job Description

About the Role

The Director of NAM AI Product & Deployment is a leadership role reporting to the VP of Operational Excellence at Schneider Electric. This position is responsible for building and leading a team of AI product managers, project managers, and a change management team to ensure AI solutions are deployed effectively within the organization and adopted to drive business value. The role involves defining AI vision and strategy, overseeing product lifecycle management, leading cross-functional teams, driving prototyping and experimentation, collaborating with stakeholders, managing risks, and developing talent to support AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive thought-leadership for AI-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with NAM Business Goals, including building systemic prioritization and value creation models.
  • Partner with functions such as Data Office, Global AI, IT, and Process to promote cultural change and AI upskilling in NAM.
  • Oversee the AI use case lifecycle from ideation and development to deployment and updates, ensuring timely delivery and quality, while following global AI risk and governance models.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product integration and execution.
  • Drive rapid prototyping and experimentation to validate product hypotheses and iterate on solutions.
  • Collaborate with legal, risk management, data office, and business units to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with AI products.
  • Define and execute strategic workforce plans, including talent upskilling, talent development, and capability building within the change management team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AI product management, including building products from concept to market and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing digital/technical projects and transformations.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and applications, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into product requirements.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on using KPIs to measure product performance and business value.
  • People management experience, including developing and leading high-performance teams.
  • Strong analytical and data background.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and decisiveness.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Strategic vision and thinking, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.

  • Experience in building and scaling AI products in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of global AI governance and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across different regions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in AI product management and digital/technical project management.
