About the Role

The Director of Product, Growth position will report to the Chief Product Officer. The role involves driving experimentation on product funnels to optimize performance, defining and executing strategies to engage and nurture future customers, partnering with engineering, data, and marketing teams to support testing and personalization, launching new products and driving engagement and cross-sell opportunities, developing APIs and embedded experiences for growth from partners, and leading a small team of Product Managers. Key Responsibilities

Drive experimentation on product funnels to optimize funnel performance and maximize the number of customers who originate a loan with Earnest.
Define and execute a product strategy to engage and nurture customers who are not yet ready to become Earnest customers, based on customer insights.
Partner with engineering, data, and marketing teams to ensure a strong foundation for testing, personalization, and funnel optimization.
Launch new products and drive engagement and cross-sell from existing Earnest customers.
Develop APIs and embedded experiences to drive growth from partners serving similar customer bases.
Lead and develop a small team of Product Managers as a player/coach.

Requirements

7+ years of experience launching and growing a successful consumer digital lending or fintech product.
2+ years of experience leading a team of Product Managers.
Experience optimizing an online customer acquisition funnel across multiple channels and products.
Experience growing engagement from an existing customer base and finding ways to cross-sell and monetize engagement.
A data-driven philosophy influencing what to build and when to pivot.
Deep experience setting up, running, and measuring A/B tests.
Ability to manage and optimize a testing roadmap based on opportunity size, customer insights, data analysis, and testing learnings.
Experience with integrated martech infrastructure to enable growth through marketing and sales channels.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Nice to Have

Experience with sophisticated testing methodologies such as contextual, multi-arm bandits.
Experience launching growth features or freemium offerings from 0-1.
Experience partnering closely with a marketing team to open new distribution channels.
Experience building embedded product experiences with partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
