About the Role

This role at Baxter involves managing the product lifecycle of digital health products, including web-based tools and mobile applications, within the BardyDx Portfolio. The Software Product Manager will serve as the marketing representative, collaborating with software/engineering, UX/UI, and sales teams to explore, innovate, and improve products. The position emphasizes strategic thinking about product value, market needs, and reaching the right users, with a focus on helping clinicians and patients through digital health solutions. The role is based in Bellevue (Seattle) and is part of a large, patient-centric, multinational organization committed to healthcare innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee portfolio of digital products (software platforms, apps) and manage the product lifecycle from discovery and innovation to post-launch management.
  • Lead short- and long-term digital product strategy, road mapping, and backlog grooming activities.
  • Work with key stakeholders including software/engineering, sales, clinical, finance, and customer experience to discover unmet needs, requirements, and business issues, and prioritize their business value.
  • Collaborate closely with software/engineering to translate market requirements into technical specifications to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products across multiple sprints in coordination with software/engineering teams.
  • Drive product launches through cross-functional teams, managing go-to-market activities such as validation testing, end-user testing, creating user manuals, release notes, and coordinating training.
  • Assess product, technology, and customer trends to inform new product development.
  • Maintain competitive market intelligence and understanding of workflows and functionality.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and support sales efforts when needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Management Information Systems, Marketing/Business, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years in digital product management, software/engineering, or digital product development within the software, medical device, or healthcare IT industries.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and best practices.
  • Experience in defining, launching, and maintaining software products.
  • Success in driving product vision and prioritization using analytic and quantitative methods.
  • Experience testing and validating digital products in the market.
  • Proven project management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to listen to client feedback and generate actionable items.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze issues, develop solutions, and operate within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of health IT, connected devices, apps, or hosted software environments is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and product ownership.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in digital product management or related fields.
