About the Role

Meta is seeking a Director of Product Management for WhatsApp Growth & Broadcast to lead the strategy and execution of initiatives aimed at expanding WhatsApp's user base and enhancing user engagement through channels and status. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to build products that connect people privately and support Meta's mission of creating immersive social experiences. This position reports directly to the VP of Product and is responsible for the success of the Growth and Broadcast pillar within WhatsApp, one of Meta's five key pillars.

Key Responsibilities

Drive strategic direction, establish shared vision across the company by obtaining buy-in on critical priorities leading to product execution
Lead the definition, development, and launch of initiatives to drive innovation and growth
Drive product development with a team of engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other functional experts
Cultivate a culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor
Hire, grow, and retain top talent

Requirements

15+ years of experience in leading and growing high performing product management teams
10+ years of experience managing complex, global-scale projects
Experience running CEO-level reviews and shaping the evolution of the company's business model
Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with people outside the direct reporting chain and senior executives
Experience defining resource needs to achieve goals and effectively advocating for those resources
Experience managing and communicating effectively with executives

Qualifications

Experience managing and growing high performing product management teams
Experience managing complex, global-scale projects
Experience working with executive leadership

Benefits & Perks

$323,000/year to $381,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location
