About the Role

The Director of Product Management for WhatsApp Growth & Broadcast at Meta is responsible for leading the growth and broadcast pillars of WhatsApp, focusing on expanding the user base, especially in the US, and enhancing user engagement through channels and status. This role involves working with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to build innovative products that align with WhatsApp's mission to connect the world privately. The position reports directly to the VP of Product and plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction and execution of growth initiatives within one of WhatsApp's five core pillars.

Key Responsibilities

Drive strategic direction and establish shared vision across the company by obtaining buy-in on critical priorities leading to product execution
Lead the definition, development, and launch of initiatives to drive innovation and growth
Drive product development with a team of engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other functional experts
Cultivate a culture of executional excellence and analytical rigor
Hire, grow, and retain top talent

Requirements

15+ years of experience in leading and growing high performing product management teams
10+ years of experience managing complex, global-scale projects
Experience running CEO-level reviews and shaping the evolution of the company's business model
Experience working and influencing effectively cross-functionally and building relationships across teams, including with senior executives
Experience defining resource needs and effectively advocating for them
Experience managing and communicating effectively with executives
