About the Role

The Alamo Colleges District is an award-winning collective of five colleges in the Greater San Antonio area whose mission is to empower our diverse communities for success. As a district of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) and the nation's only HSI and Historically Black College and University (HBCU), our colleges serve more than 70,000+ students annually with a focus on economic and social mobility. The Division Marketing Content Creator will create marketing and communication content for their division to strategically tell the division's story to internal and external audiences, aligned with the overall goals and brand of the Alamo Colleges District.

Key Responsibilities

Create marketing and communication content for the division to tell its story to internal and external audiences.
Align content creation with the overall goals and brand of the Alamo Colleges District.
Work under the direction of the District Communications Department.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, graphic design or a closely related field or a combination of education, training and experience that equates to the required degree.
Three years of professional experience with writing or design, producing content on a daily basis and managing social media platforms.
Must have a valid driver license and be insurable by the Alamo Colleges District insurers.
Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen.

Nice to Have

Five years of professional experience writing, producing content on a daily basis and managing various social media platforms.
Experience in the fields of journalism and/or higher education is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of three years of professional content creation experience.
