About the Role

The Product Content Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Site Merchandising department's online product strategy. This role directly impacts sales, conversion, and site productivity within 5-7 focused merchandise departments by ensuring all product content meets the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and brand alignment. The specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of online product setup—onboarding, reviewing and approving product copy and digital assets, creating sets, bundles and variations, and adding upsell & cross-sell functionality—ensuring timely and accurate launches on AtHome.com. Working within the Site Merchandising department, this role collaborates closely across teams to execute product strategies that elevate the online shopping experience. The Product Content Specialist will proactively maintain data integrity and uphold brand standards to support departmental goals and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

New Product Set Up for assigned focus departments
Review all product attributes, names and descriptions for accuracy, completeness and proper formatting
Product Maintenance including adding, changing or editing product names, content and attributes to normalize data and accommodate new refinement needs to comply with standards
Create product sets, bundles, variations, upsellers
Help in developing standards for product content that align with brand standards and web optimization
May assist with Site Merchandising & needs
Perform all other assigned duties

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
1+ years of ecommerce merchandising experience, or similar role
Experience with Salesforce (or similar ecom platforms)
Strong computer proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
Self-starter with strong attention to detail who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced & deadline driven environment
Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
