About the Role

The Post Production team responsible for creating Client Immersive Video experiences on Vision Pro is seeking a highly skilled, versatile, seasoned editor. This role requires both strong technical and creative editorial expertise, proficiency in post video and audio tools and workflows, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Candidates with experience in immersive media, VR, or emerging formats are especially encouraged to apply. This is an onsite role at Client Irvine, CA facility, hired through a third-party vendor.

Key Responsibilities

Operate as a seasoned editor with expertise in technical editorial tasks and short-form creative editing.
Collaborate with producers, VFX artists, audio teams, and other creatives and engineers to contribute to a developing post production pipeline.
Craft compelling creative content on tight turnaround schedules.
Integrate motion graphics and work with emerging formats, including immersive media and large-format content.
Manage highly technical post production workflows and ensure fast turnaround delivery timelines.
Work effectively across both creative and technical teams, demonstrating exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Troubleshoot technical issues independently, being detail and results oriented.

Requirements

7+ years experience of professional editorial experience in a post production environment, with editorial experience in sports or event-based creative.
Expert level proficiency in Davinci Resolve or similar NLE with an understanding of editorial, audio workflows, color grading, finishing, and integrating motion graphics.
Proven ability to manage highly technical post production workflows.
Experience in post production environments with fast turnaround delivery timelines.
Comfortable working with new and emerging technologies and formats, including immersive content.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across both creative and technical teams.
Strong self-sufficient troubleshooter that is detail and results oriented.

Nice to Have

Experience working in immersive media, AR/VR, or new emerging formats.
Experience working within an R D environment.
Enthusiasm for collaborating with a diverse team of creative and technical professionals.
