About the Role

The Email Marketing Automation Project Manager at Staffmark Investment LLC will be part of the Digital Lab team, responsible for managing, overseeing, and optimizing email campaigns throughout their lifecycle. The role involves working in a hybrid environment in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, supporting a global pharmaceutical company's brand CRM programs and ensuring flawless execution and continuous improvement of marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee medium-high complex brand CRM engagements, including developing project plans, creating status reports, conducting weekly status meetings, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure on-time, flawless execution of brand CRM programs.
  • Learn the business for the respective therapeutic areas/brands and work effectively with multiple departments and agencies throughout project development and implementation.
  • Proactively manage workload, review campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate improvements to the marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, timelines, proofing checklists, and status reports.
  • Monitor all work in progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional and agency teams to create processes for capturing requirements, gaining approvals, documenting metadata, and verifying data elements.
  • Document change requests, notify teams, and understand timeline implications.
  • Seek standardization, automation, and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
  • Prepare quarterly campaign audits and performance SLAs, review with the Associate Director.
  • Identify issues or concerns with cross-functional and agency partners, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to increase engagement.
  • Participate in planning with brands, internal teams, and agency partners, and track campaign activities and resources.
  • Create clear, organized communications and set expectations for team and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Database Marketing, CRM, Email (Salesforce and Marketo are a plus), Digital, Direct Mail, or 1:1 marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on work experience in client service, account, or response management discipline.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Analytical ability to identify optimization opportunities and program-related issues.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Smartsheet or Asana.
  • Familiarity with Med/Reg processes and systems, such as Veeva Promomats.
  • Digital marketing or interactive agency experience.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Business or Marketing or equivalent experience.
