About the Role

The Email Marketing Manager will support the company-wide database marketing efforts, both in strategy and execution. S/he will manage the day-to-day operations of a variety of email campaigns, e-newsletters, opt-in strategy and other areas of our expanding email marketing plans. The role involves collaborating with various departments, executing email marketing best practices, and leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud to drive revenue and engagement for Westgate Resorts, a leader in the timeshare and hospitality industry with multiple resort locations.

Key Responsibilities

Execute email marketing best practices
Build, edit and update email templates within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Create the strategic vision of journeys or ad hoc campaigns, including lead generation, revenue generating campaigns, informational sends, etc.
QA (review) and deploy email campaigns or journeys using SFMC
Collaborate with marketing managers, designers, copywriters, and project managers to see the project through the process, deployment and analysis
Provide reporting on email campaigns, including email stats, web analytics and direct revenue, where applicable
Continuously build upon previous success to learn and drive additional revenue (including A/B testing, personalization, etc.)
Work alongside the Director to champion SFMC to maximize its value, leveraging existing and new features
Collaborate with other departments (Revenue Management, E-Commerce, on-property staff, Social Media, etc.) to ensure consistent messaging
Maintain the email send calendar and meet deadlines for target launch dates
Explore email trends or audience segmentation to grow the database and revenue
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in email marketing
Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CCPA and GDPR email regulations
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder and Advertising Studio
Experience with SQL
Familiarity with HTML and AMPscript
Strong organizational skills
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Ability to problem solve and pay meticulous attention to detail
Adept at multi-tasking
BA/BS degree preferred
